Dear Parents, I understand that many parents are under the impression that their child will need to attend a, “proper” nursery once they are 3, in order for them to receive, “proper” education. However, as Little Learners is a registered education provision, with two qualified teachers working with our 3-4 year olds, we provide everything a, “school nursery” does and more. We are a “proper” nursery, inspected by ofsted and dedicated to providing the best care and education available. We can also offer a much more flexible nursery place, enabling parents to take up a completely FREE education place - 5 sessions per week, or to extend their nursery hours still receiving £47 per week towards their fees. We would therefore like to invite all parents to take a look at our, “Foundation Stage Curriculum Board” which is located on reception. This giving you the chance to see some of the complex planning and assessment which takes place with our 3-4 year olds. We are also now taking registration for an “Education Place” at Little Learners for any children attending under the age of 3. Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to secure a place, or if you have any questions, I’d be happy to help. Finally, I would just like to inform you all that Little Learners, being a private nursery receive the, "Preference Forms" first. (This is the form all parents need to submit to the Education Department, indicating which School you wish your child to attend when they’re 4 years old.) The allocation of school places is not influenced by which nursery your child attends, so submitting the form first is essential for successful allocation. Again, please contact me with any queries. Thank You Yours Deborah |
